I hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend! I definitely did - I got to spend it with my family at home which was a lovely treat! It was so good to be home again. These are the Tory Burch Duck Boots. I saw them in Lord and Taylor in NYC a few weeks ago and almost bought them then. Well, now that I actually want to buy them, I can't seem to find them anywhere!!! They're not on any department store website or the Tory Burch website. IT'S MY BLOGIVERSARY

It's my blogivesary today! I can't believe that I have been doing this for an entire year already. When I started this blog, I never expected for it to become what it is now - it started as just a place for me to write about my passion for fashion and has turned into a wonderful space where I have made so many blog friends, have developed my personal tastes, have been able to share my thoughts and feelings, and have been able to learn so much from all of you. Thank you for all your support throughout this past year, I have really enjoyed being a part of this community!

More Blazers

On Friday I told you to expect more blazers in fun springtime colors, and I couldn't wait to post them up. So here they are... Don't you just love them! First of all, let me say what a fantastic job Ralph does with his blazers - he puts a spin on the classic style while still making them elegant looking. Also, totally loving the Nanette Lepore jacket. This is becoming one of my new favorite designers!! And the Ann Taylor Loft jacket is such a beautiful shade of yellow, a color which I am beginning to love and appreciate more and more each day!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Lil sis and I had a fantastic time at the concert, but I miss her already. That's alright, I only have like four more weeks of school left and then I'll be GRADUATING!!! That's a scary thought - so much work to do before then (aka four semester long projects to really work on). Have a great week everyone!

So excited about this weekend!!! Lil sis is coming out to visit and we're going to a concert tomorrow night which is going to be fantastic! I can't wait to see her. And tonight I'm off to sorority formals with my best friend. It should be a fun night!

I Love Blazers

I don't think I have mentioned recently how much I just love blazers. So here we go... I LOVE BLAZERS!!! I mean, don't get me wrong - I adore a beautiful suit. But a blazer can go a long way. You can wear it over anything (just don't mix black and navy please!). You can dress it up, you can dress it down (that seems to be a theme with me recently). You can do so much with it. And there are so many fantastic styles and colors that you can work with. Here are a few of my favorite dark-hued blazers of the season. Okay, I know its no longer winter so I shouldn't be shopping for winter boots, but I had to post these up because I just adore them. I've seen them on girls before but I never really know what they were. Apparently these precious sweater boots are called Livs, and I love em.

I am all about the double breasted cardigans. I mean, they are so classy and beautiful. And they look like a jacket so you can get away with them being professional, too. I have two sweater jackets that are just perfect for work in the spring and summer (now, if I had a job, everything would be perfect!). Just wanted to share a few that I think are fantastic. HAPPY APRIL!!!

WOW! Can you believe that it's April already?!? It definitely doesn't feel like it yet - we have had some really nice days followed by some really cold ones again. It's kind of disappointing.

Anyway, I wanted to showcase Kiel James Patrick today. I know a lot of us have seen his products on Nautical by Nature. I've looked at the website a few times (mostly because I was looking for cute nautical products for lil sis), but then I realized that there are so many fantastic things that I love for myself, too! I'm totally in love with the preppy bracelets, and I think I know one of the things that I'm gonna be asking for for my upcoming birthday (hint hint!). Not to mention, I totally fell in love with the adorable names of some of the products!! Not only does Kiel James Patrick carry some fantastic bracelets, but they also have a lot more that I had never noticed before - like he pocket tees which are so fun and the polo shirts! Ugh, it is too early in the morning for me to be up. Today is supposed to be my day off (no classes, yay!) But I'm the overachiever who is planning our major's senior banquet, so I have a 9am meeting with the head of the department to make sure he likes my restaurant choice (and to ask for a little more money to cover the dinner). I think I might need a nap after this...

Hmm, I think I need something colorful to post about this morning to wake me up a little bit more... oh, I got it! Trench coats. I have this collection of trench coat images on my computer because I am dying for one but will probably not purchase one anytime soon. Aren't these enamel bangles just the cutest? I was on the A. Tierney website this morning and saw all her new patterns and just fell in love. I mean, all the pink and green is so preppy and would go perfectly with all my summer Lilly's. Of course, my favorite is the bees (because I love everything with bees), but I also have a huge soft spot for the polkadot seahorses. So much fun!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!! I can't wait... it's our big campus party weekend, so I'm going to be having the best time! And for everyone who is off to the Carolina Cup, I am incredibly jealous but have a fabulous time!!!
